Miss Iraq wishes to meet Aishwariya Rai
Newly crowned Miss Iraq, Shaima Qasim Abdulrahman wishes to meet Bollywood diva Aishwariya Rai Bachchan.
In an interview with the Times of India, the pageant queen revealed that she dreams of visiting India and meeting the Indian beauty.
“India is the country of wisdom. It also has an excellent record in international beauty pageants and winners – one of my dreams is to visit India, meet Aishwarya Rai and ask her for secrets of success. I’ve read about her and love the way she manages her life,” the beauty said.
Shaima, winner of the beauty competition held in Baghdad after 43 years, hopes that media coverage of the event will help change people’s perception of Iraq as a war-torn country.
“International media used to show images of violence and war in Iraq – this was a great chance to prove to the world that the situation in Iraq is getting better. Iraqi families are accepting a civil life,” she said.
When asked about the status of women in the country, the 20 year old said, “Women in Iraq enjoyed a positive history – many women positively influenced the political, social, scientific and artistic history and life of Iraq. Due to political regimes and wars of the last few decades, women’s role decreased. We hope we can increase positive participation by women at all levels now.”
A student of business administration in college, Shaima aims to use her position to target the lack of education in Iraq.
“My main project is educational support for children in IDP camps in Iraq. I’m trying to promote awareness of this important issue. I’ll hopefully conduct a campaign towards the educat ion of children in these camps,” she said.
She seems to be hopeful about the future of her country as she said: “The Iraqi army is achieving victories in getting rid of terrorists of ISIS. We’re happy these victories will be with social development and national reconciliation – the hard years of violence will not be repeated and we have much to give to our country now.”
“Iraq is big – Iraq has enough space to contain all the ethnicities on its soil. Freedom of expression is guaranteed by the Iraqi constitution – and this is one of the pillars of new Iraq,”she added

Keep Your Woollens In Top Form With These Easy Tips
Winter is here and your woollens are your best companions during this season. It require extra care as the fibres are more delicate and are prone to being damaged very easily. Avoid washing machines to clean your sweaters and avoid hanging your sweaters for drying, says an expert.
Bhavya Chawla, chief stylist, Voonik, an online stylist-handpicked apparel store, has suggested some tips to keep woollens as new as ever!
* Use the right brush: Avoid washing machines to clean your sweaters as they may lose their sheen. Instead, use an electrostatic garment brush after every wear as woollens tend to accumulate a lot of dust and are vulnerable to moths. Airing them and spot-cleaning is another effective way to keep them new.
* Gently clean tough stains: If you accidentally stain your sweater or scarf, take it to the dry cleaner. In case the stain is not that tough and you feel you can manage to clean it at home, use a high quality detergent meant for woollens. Mix it in lukewarm water and soak your woollens in the mixture. Gently wash the piece of clothing with your hands. But remember to do this only for items that don’t come with a “Dry clean only” tag!
* Avoid hanging: Woollens should never be hung up on a clothes line like other articles as this causes the fabric to stretch and it may lose its shape eventually. Lay the sweater or cardigan on a flat surface and allow it to dry at room temperature. Steer clear of sunlight and intense heat as these can sap all colour and life from your precious woollens.
As they are really pron e to stretching out of shape, you must also avoid hanging woollens on hangers in the closets. Instead, fold them neatly and place them.
* Don’t iron when dry: Woollens shouldn’t be ironed when they are completely dry as this won’t ease out the deep creases. They can also scorch easily under direct dry heat. Instead, use a steam press. If that’s not an option, wet a plain white cotton cloth very slightly and use this as a buffer between the iron and the woollen. It’s also advisable to keep the sweater turned inside out when not in use.
* Prevent moth attacks and germs: Wool is very vulnerable to moth attacks and germ build-ups. That is why it’s imperative to never stack even remotely damp woolLen clothes in your wardrobe as you will end up creating a breeding ground for germs. Remember to stash some moth balls in the section of your cupboard where you are placing your woollens.

Galpin and Henrik Fisker Rocket Mustang Unveiling At Amelia Island
Its first introduction to the world was as a concept at the Los Angeles Auto Show Nov. 20, 2014, and just a short four months later, it’s ready to be unveiled as a low-volume production model.
Say hello to the “Rocket,” the brainchild of Galpin Auto Sports and Henrik Fisker of Fisker Automotive and Aston Martin fame.
A supercharged V8 with 725 hp sits inside the Rocket Mustang crafted almost completely from carbon fiber, as described in a press release issued today. And, of course, where better to unveil this new supercar created by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts, than a legendary Concours d’Elegance?
“Amelia Island is the perfect venue for this debut,” described Beau Boeckmann, President of Galpin Motors, in the release,”as it draws an eclectic group of passionate automotive enthusiasts from around the world into one picturesque central location that celebrates the automobile.”
Though built through a collaboration, Fisker is the mind behind the design, which calls for generous use of carbon fiber and a primary focus on saving weight. So much attention was put into the weight savings that the stripes on the hood, rather than being painted on, are the result of the paint being sanded down until the carbon fiber was showing. The carbon fiber was then polished, resulting in a weight savings of 10 grams as Fisker explained at the Los Angeles Auto Show debut, shown in the video abo ve, uploaded to YouTube by Galpin Nov. 21, 2014.
Those interested in becoming an owner of one of these limited-production Rockets will be happy to know that pricing is already available. The starting price is listed at $109,100, and is cranked up to $125,000 when the supercharged performance package is added.
Be sure to prepare for quite the unveiling at the Amelia Island Concours d&rsq uo;Elegance, as the introduction of the Rocket is just one of the myriad incredible events occurring throughout the weekend. Kick off the Concours on Friday night, March 13, with the duPont REGISTRY Live Aeroport Reception, scheduled for 7 pm to 10 pm at the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport.

Bill Cosby Breaks Silence Following Sexual Assault Charge
Bill Cosby is thanking his supporters following his formal arraignment on one charge of aggravated indecent assault on Wednesday.
The 78-year-old come dian took to Twitter with a simple message on Thursday.
“Friends and fans, Thank You,” he wrote.
The tweet marks the first time Cosby has spoken out since he’s been charged. Previously, he had retweeted a video about his countersuit against several of his accusers for defamation on Dec. 15.
Cosby is being accused of d rugging and violating former Temple University employee Andrea Constand at his mansion in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania in January 2004. On Wednesday, his bail was set at $1 million with additional conditions of surrendering his passport and having no contact with the alleged victim. He posted $100,000 (10 percent of the bail, as required), and was released.
This marks the first criminal charge brought against Cosby after more than 50 women have accused him of drugging and/or sexually assaulting them. Throughout the accusations, he has maintained his innocence and has denied all wrongdoing.
On Thursday, Cosby’s lawyer, Monique Pressley, appeared on the Todayshow via satellite to discuss Cosby’s criminal charge, and said her clientwas “not guilty.”
“My client is not guilty,” Pressley told Today co-host Savannah Guthrie. “And there will be no consideration on our part of any sort of [plea] arrangement.”
When asked how Cosby is viewing the charges, Pressley added, “I can’t testify really about his state of mind. Personally, he’s been accused unjustly of a crime, so certainly that’s upsetting. But he’s in good spirits and he knows that he has a legal team that is intent on defending him until he’s exonerated.”
If Cosby is found guilty of the charge – which is considered a second degree felony – he could face up to 10 years in prison, and would be required to register as a sex offender. His preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 14.

Meet Woman Taking Some Of The Sexiest Photos On The Internet
Alissa Brunelli always knew she wanted to be a photographer. But not all little girls who spent their childhood dressing up their neighbors and snapping their pictures grow to become prolific nude photographers.
Brunelli’s work can be seen largely in Tattoo Magazine and on the popularSuicideGirls.com, a website that shows off alternative, pin-up style models. She has a unique ability to make you feel as though you’ve stumbled upon a private, erotic moment that the model secretly wanted to share with you anyway.
But taking pictures of beautiful naked women isn&rs quo;t all fun and games and nipples — it’s an incredibly involved process that sometimes leaves you covered in bodily fluids. We caught up with the photographer who’s shot over 1,500 scantily-clad ladies to get the lowdown on on-set horror stories, the importance of confidence, and what it’s like to know thousands of guys are probably jerking it to your art.
Your photos are pretty racy. Lots of gorgeous, naked, tattooed women. What draws you to that particular subject matter?
I was working at a tattoo studio, and I like shooting girls in fashion and stuff like that in general anyway. I met a girl who was a Suicide Girl who came into the shop to get tattooed. Basically, she was like, “You should shoot me for SuicideGirls” and I was like, “Oh my God this is what I was meant to do.” And I pretty much started shooting nude, entirely, completely from that point on. It was maybe like, 2005.
What was it you liked so much about shooting nude girls?
It was a lot less intimidating than I first expected, and it’s a fun, intimate process where you get to know people. And it’s very weird and strange that you become friends with these people through shooting them naked. But literally every friend I have is a girl that I’ve shot or something like that.
What about SuicideGirls in particular makes you want to shoot for them?
< p>It’s interesting. So basically, SuicideGirls is a really interesting website because it has the nudity and the community aspect, so it’s the perfect fit for me. It was a social thing at first that turned into a job.If you’re ever shooting a woman and she felt uncomfortable, how would you put her at ease?
Usually I tell silly stories about other things that have happened at shoots, that maybe would be considered ‘horror stories,’ and usually I get people laughing and feeling like, “Thank God that’s not me.” And I tell the girls that everyone has flaws and stuff like that. And a good photo is all about angles and shadowing, because everyone has something worth photographing.
About those horror stories, what’s the strangest thing that has happened to you on set?
There’s so many! I’ve been approached by random strangers, since I tend to shoot outside a lot. I’ve had people block us in with t heir cars trying to get photographs with us, I’ve had every bodily fluid you could possibly imagine on me…
Okay… what?
I guess I’ll tell you my go-to horror story I tell girls to put them at ease. Like seven or eight years ago I was shooting a girl, and my friend was assisting me — she was also a model, and she had a new Agent Provocateur lingerie set that she let the girl we were shooting borrow. So we go and shoot, and from the moment that the girl’s underwear comes off, my friend is looking at me like something is wrong. And I’m not picking up on it, I don’t see it. We’re finishing up the shoot, the model is trying to give my friend back her underwear, and my friend is like, “No, no. Keep it. You worked hard on set, it’s special to you, blah blah blah.” And the girl is like, “No, no, I couldn’t!” and I’m like, “Are you crazy? This is $300 underwear you’re giving away right now.” And I pick it up, and walk to the car, scratch my face, do all kinds of stuff, we get to the car and my friend grabs my hand and she’s like, “Let it go! Let it go!” And the way that my friend tells the story is she says that it looked like someone poured oatmeal inside the underwear. And I had it in my hand and it was everywhere. So usually I tell that story to girls. Unless you get, like, bodily fluids on or around my face, it’s not going to be the worst thing to happen.
Wow. So you set the bar pretty low. That would probably get me to relax.
Yeah, yeah. It definitely makes whatever you’re worried about not that bad.
So that was likely one of your least favorite shoots to work on. What do you think your favorite photo shoot to date has been?
There’s so many…I really like shoots based off movies. Some of my favorite things I’ve done, I recreated the bathtub scene from The Big Lebowski with a ferret and a girl, I think that was really fun. I’ve done American Psycho. Any pop culture type of movie when I can find a girl who is willing to be a guinea pig, I’m all about. Right now I’m working on a shoot with a girl that’s about the movie Signs, we’re going to have a room full of glasses of water and she’s going to have a little foil hat. Stuff like that really makes it fun for me.
What do you think the main difference is between a man photographing a woman, and a woman photographing a woman?
There’s so many differences. I’ve heard from the girls I shoot, that there are certain things a man would see versus a woman and vice versa. The experiences that I’ve had is that maybe women are more slightly more comfortable shooting with another woman than a man. But I don’t think it’s necessarily that much difference as long as the photographer is good at making the girls feel comfortable and confident. How would you describe your signature style as a photographer?
I guess it would be, intimate nude portraiture. There’s lots of soft focus in my work, too. I’m told a lot that my sense of humor and the funniness that I often bring to the shoots sets me apart, and making people feel comfortable. I have a good reputation for that.
That would probably make a huge difference.
It’s usually all about laughter. If I can tell a girl is really, really nervous, I will step up the comic act. And I’ve only had two or t hree girls, and I’ve shot over a thousand girls….like, probably 1,500 girls in my career, and I’ve had two girls, no matter what I’ve tried, who I couldn’t get to crack a smile or relax at all. But I feel like those are pretty good numbers.
I would say so.
It made me really uncomfortable for them, like, why are you paying me to torture you?
That’s a whole different kind of line of work.
Yeah, exactly! They might be a little nervous, but once they get started, before the nudity, before a boob even comes out they’re usually like, “Oh, this is fun! This is like hanging out with friends and blah blah blah. If they’re very uncomfortable, like I’ll resort to physical comedy, like tripping over things trying to make people laugh. And when it doesn’t happen it’s very awkward.
I’ve gotta know. What’s it like to take photos that you know people are probably jerking off to?
I just present the canvas, I don’t tell the artist what to paint with! Oddly enough, in the ten years I’ve been shooting nude women, it never really occurred to me to think about the potential men (and women) who might masturbate to the images. Usually the model and I have a different intention set when it comes to creating our work. I’m also so desensitized to nudity at this point. Really when it comes down to it though, I feel that my work is a bit “tame” for masturbation material. There is so much more out there in the world of pornography with the sole goal of arousal that I wouldn’t consider all of my work to be pornographic. In fact, I would describe my work as erotic fine art instead. I’m sure it happens, but I think most of internet masturbation is going on elsewhere.
So what’s next for you?
Well, I have lots of shoots, basic stuff. I’m working on a book, which I’m really ex cited about. It’s a book of my stuff, I’ve been compiling work for about a year now. We’re moving slow, it’s my first book so I want it to be perfect.
If there are any women out there who are maybe nervous, but want to get nude portraits done, what advice would you give them?
Oh, I really think that’s something everyone should do. I have seen people that are very shy and insecure, blossom and find all this confidence. Just from seeing themselves more objectively from a camera’s viewpoint. You should be forced to do it, because it builds so much confidence and I’ve seen it happen to literally everybody I shoot. Especially girls that share their photos and get feedback, on Instagram or whatever. And it’s awesome to me and it makes me feel good. My advice would be to just do it do it. Find a photographer, and do it. Because it is a life changing experience.

New Post has been published on http://www.newsnish.com/entertainment/tv-series/2015-movie-reviews-year-in-review/
2015 Movie Reviews Year In Review
Living in Des Moines makes it difficult to do a “Top 10” list because most of the big Oscar contenders don’t hit our theaters until after the first of the year. If they do, they end up coming in one big lump right at the end of December, which is the case this year. Also the case this year is the fact that the weather has been Iowa Lousy, which made it difficult to get to those new releases. So, instead of a “Top 10,” I decided to just do a review of my personal year at the movies. This is by no means a comprehensive list, because that article would be novella-sized, at least, but it’s a good summary of a great year.
< p>These two movies genuinely surprised me with their quality. It’s nice when this happens, especially when you are going in with pretty low expectations. The summer blockbuster season began with a wallop with “San Andreas.” It was everything a disaster flick should be, with excitement, scares and human characters whose emotions felt real. If there was one film I had the lowest expectations for all year, it was “The Visit.” M. Night Shyamalan had not just been stumbling since “Signs,” he had been skidding along the pavement flat on his face. Yet, on the heels of “Wayward Pines,” the brilliant summer TV show he produced, I felt inclined to see this one. Using two cameras instead of one, his entry into the Found Footage genre is a creepy little fright fest.
Biggest Surprises: “San Andreas,” “The Visit”Most Pleasant Surprise: “Ant-Man”
I thoroughly enjoyed both Phases in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I found it an interesting gamble on their part to try centering some of their movies around a few of their heroes who are lesser known to the general public. It paid off with “Guardians,” but “Ant-Man” was a bigger challenge. Their marketing was so-so, appearing as though they weren’t sure if they should focus on the adventure or the comedy. Yet, being a big Paul Rudd fan, I had high hopes, and they were pleasantly surpassed. I knew it would be fun, but I wasn’t prepared for just how fun it ended up being. A great way to finish out Marvel’s Phase 2.
Worst Surprise: “Goodnight Mommy”
This one still infuriates me whenever I think about it. When I see trusted horror sources praising a movie up and down, I get excited to see it. Then, when the trailer comes out and everyone’s calling it the creepiest trailer ever, I get absolutely giddy. When that movie telegraphs its “twist” within the first 15 minutes and doesn&rsq uo;t own up to the audience’s intelligence, by maybe playing upon the fact that we will have figured it out, and it keeps on going as if what’s really going on isn’t obvious, I get angry. I wish they would refill the hole from which they dug up all of those old Atari “E.T.” games with every copy of this movie.
Favorite Trend: Spies
This was a great year for the espionage genre, whether played seriously or for a few laughs. “Kingsman: The Secret Service” started things off with an ultra-violent, ultra-fun take on James Bond. “Spy” spoofed the genre with Melissa McCarthy taking the reins. Yet, as any good spoof knows, you also have to be a fine example of the genre you’re poking fun at for everything to work perfectly, and this succeeded. “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation” was able to successfully follow up its phenomenal predecessor. “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” di dn’t score big at the box office, but it was a fun Cold War throwback that I believe deserves a second look from audiences. Things rounded out with “Spectre,” the strong fourth (and maybe final) Daniel Craig Bond film. It had a hard act to follow, and I felt it did a decent job. Not the best of his four entries, but not the worst, and will be a good swan song, if that’s the way things go.
Best Feels: “Inside Out,” “The Good Dinosaur”
No surprise that two of the most emotional movies this year came from Disney and Pixar. Most of Disney’s output is designed to appeal to all ages, but I think that “Inside Out” is great for the fact that it not only has something everyone can enjoy, but its main plot is brilliantly targeted at middle grade girls. It’s a market that has been largely ignored by most media, and one that movies and comics books, especially, are seeing a need to fill. It n ot only shows girls that everybody goes through those conflicting emotions they are having, but it also shows parents how to maybe relate to their teens. “The Good Dinosaur” starts off kind of slow, and the dichotomy of photo-realistic backgrounds and more cartoony looking characters takes some getting used to. Once the two main characters really get going on their journey, though, I was pulled in. It was all I could do to keep from balling like a baby by the end.
Most Overlooked: “A Most Violent Year,” “Ex Machina,” “The Gift”
There were a lot of great independent films out this year. These, though, were my three favorites. “A Most Violent Year” came out right at the beginning of January here. This is usually a time where studios dump films they hope will maybe recoup a little of the money spent on them, but they have low-to-no hopes for them. Starring Oscar Issac and Jessica Chastain, both putting in fantastic performances, this is a truly interesting film about the fight for control of the heating oil business in 1981 New York City. “Ex Machina” also stars Issac, this time as an eccentric tech billionaire who has created an android, played beautifully by Alicia Vikander, and he brings a young man to his home to test how “human” she is. “The Gift” was written, directed and stars Joel Edgerton. He plays a man who runs into an old school mate, played by Jason Bateman, and his wife. Joel slowly inserts himself into their lives, and the results slowly build to one of the creepiest endings that you will still be shuddering about days later.
Best Resurrections: “Max Max,” “Evil Dead,” “Star Wars”
This was the year 3 franchises that could easily fallen down the Reboot Hole actually created new chapters. In case you haven’t heard, there was a new chapter in the &ldquo ;Star Wars” saga, and it was really good. It not only started a new trilogy, but a new post-Lucas era of other stand-alone films within its universe. I, for one, can’t wait to see how this all turns out. Sam Raimi’s classic “Evil Dead” horror trilogy found new life on cable television. The series “Ash vs. Evil Dead” takes the fun, and the gore, of the films and amps it up as far as both can go. Without the restrictions of a film ratings board, this is the “Evil Dead” that fans were wanting. “Mad Max: Fury Road” brought one of my all-time favorite anti-heroes back to life. If you’ve ever seen a post-apocalyptic movie made after 1982, it’s probably trying to emulate the “Mad Max” films, especially “The Road Warrior.” Speaking of Mad Max …
Favorite Film: “Mad Max: Fury Road”
This should not be confused with “Best Film” of t he year (“Spotlight” is that, in my opinion, but I still have a lot of award contenders to see, yet), but this was an amazing achievement on so many fronts. First and foremost is the fact that this film shouldn’t even exist. It’s the fourth film in a franchise whose third film was released 30 years ago, making it a hard sell to those generations completely unfamiliar with the others. I showed the first trailer to a friend who’s in his early 20s and he said, “I have no idea what that is, but I want to see it.” The whole movie’s basically an extended car chase, executed with minimal CGI. That’s right, all of those vehicles are real, all of those stunts are real and all of that adrenaline is also real. I was a little skeptical about the recasting of a character so iconically associated with one particular actor, but I was completely on board within the first minute. It’s also one of those rare movies that gets better every time you watch it, which is part of the formula that makes a film a classic.

Sia Celebrates Her 40th Birthday With Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock and Drag Queens
Sia’s got game. To celebrate her 40th birthday, the singer hired drag queens from Bingo Boys Inc. to host a party at a private home December 19, an insider reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly.
Among the competitors: Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux, Sandra Bullock and boyfriend Bryan Randall, Jeff Probst and Jason Bateman.“As we were passing out the bingo cards, I noticed a couple of familiar faces,” Bingo Boys owner Jeffery Bowman later blogged. “[It] was just a nice group of Sia’s friends.”
But the birthday girl — who married filmmaker Erik Anders Lang at her Palm Springs, California, home in August last year — didn’t go easy on her famous pals. Adds the insider, “Sia was very competitive!”
The Australian songstress is no stranger to hanging out with A-listers for big occasions. As Us Weekly previously reported, Sia was one of the few celebs invited to Aniston and Theroux’s hush-hush wedding in August, which was also attended by Bullock and Randall, as well as Howard Stern, Ellen DeGeneres and others.

SO much for women’s liberation — in this country, in order to work as a flight attendant you need to look good in a bikini.

Modelling agency Oriental Beauty is said to have organised the event to help airline recruiters source ‘talent’.
Although it is unknown whether the keen entrants we re also skilled in evacuating a plane in case of emergency, the main thing is they looked good in bikinis.
Because that matters on your flight, right?
Candidates attended the audition for model and flight attendant roles in Qingdao in east China’s Shandong Province,
Eleventh National College “professional” seminar models and flight attendants was held in the region on Monday, attracting more than 1000 high school graduates.
The “beautiful promotion” was also said to help relevant professional colleges and universities “focus” on selection criteria and help candidates “build a platform to show themselves”.

North has also worn other furs since then. For her grandmother Kris Jenner’s annual Christmas Eve party, the tiny tot donned a black fur coat to match her mom’s. And that wasn’t the only way they were twinning!“North wanted her hair braided just like mine so we matched the whole night,” Kardashian, 35, wrote on her personal website and app.
